Toro is complete!

I completed my latest sculpture last night. I added a clear gloss lacquer coating last night. I took these photos today at our photo studio at adobe then brought the sculpture to the MN state fair art competion. I'm pretty happy with the resullts.

Toro is almost complete

here is a picture of my newest sculpture "Toro" from a few days ago. I moved the mouth so that it was more in line with the rest of the face. This made a big difference it looks much bette now. I'm planning on taking some pics of this in the studio tomorrow and will post them tomorrow evening.

Here is a pic of the newest small sculpture I've been working on. So far it's looking pretty good, I just need to find time to finish it. the legs are made out forged railroad spikes.

I've also added a pic of my studio for thos who are intrested.

IDS center

Well it rained yesterday and I had to go pick up my sculpture early. I got a little rusty but it survived overall. Here is a photo with it on a base I made at the last minute.

Hello all, this is mt first post to my new blog. I thought I would show my newest sculpture. It's currently in downtown Minneapolis MN in front of the IDS center on display for a American Iron scrapyard sculpture show.

The sculpture is called "I think This Bird Is Following Me" It's the first new sculpture I made since I moved to North Saint Paul MN and built my nre studio.
